CANDLE CARE
1. The first time you light your candle make sure to burn it until the entire surface has melted, this usually takes about 3 hours depending on room temperature. This will prevent tunneling around the wick and ensure a flat, even burn.
2. To avoid smoking, regularly trim the wick to its ideal length of 4-5mm. Only trim the wick when the wax is cool and hard.
3. If you notice any soot on the sides of the vessel, gently wipe with a damp cloth once it has cooled.
4. If needed, after extinguishing the flame, leave it to cool and then carefully recentre the wick while the wax is still liquid.
5. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from curtains and soft furnishings.
6. Do not light the candle with less than 1cm of wax remaining, this means you are ready for a refill.
